Everyday Filetrap
Everyday Filetrap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The app saves photos and notes locally on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third‑party advertising SDKs.
What data we collect
None. Everyday Filetrap has no server components and does not send information off your device.
- No personal information
- No usage analytics or crash analytics
- No advertising identifiers or tracking
Local storage only
Your content (e.g., photos of boxes, items, receipts) is saved to the app’s local storage or your system photo library, depending on your settings. You can delete this content at any time from within your device. Uninstalling the app removes its local data.
Device permissions
To function, Everyday Filetrap may request limited, on‑device permissions:
- Camera: to capture photos you choose to take.
- Photos/Media/Library: to save images locally or read images you select for import.
- File access (local): to store data within the app’s sandboxed storage.
Permissions are optional, and you can change them anytime in your device settings. If denied, certain features may be unavailable.
Third‑party services
Everyday Filetrap does not integrate third‑party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. Platform providers (Apple, Google) may process limited, non‑identifying metadata necessary for app distribution and system updates. Refer to their privacy policies for details.
Children’s privacy
Everyday Filetrap is suitable for general audiences. Because we do not collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your control
- Export/Delete: Manage, export, or delete your photos directly on your device.
- Revoke permissions: Update app permissions in your device settings at any time.
Security
Your data remains on your device. We recommend using your device’s built‑in security features (passcode, Touch ID/Face ID, and secure backups) to protect access to your content.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Because the app does not collect data, any change would remain consistent with our local‑only approach unless explicitly stated.
